The Councilor in Training Program is a fee-based training program aimed at the older camper who has shown aptitude and interest in Gloucester Museum School Project Adventure camp activities. This program offers both leadership training and training in all of our activities, guidance in working with children outdoors in a non-competitive environment as well as the supervision needed by this age group. CIT's will be learning those skills and techniques needed by GMS Project Adventure staff members in a nurturing and supportive environment, while having fun.

The CIT program runs all four sessions. All potential CITs will need to fill out an application and go through an interview process before being chosen for this program. This is a limited space program due to its nature and only serious applicants can be considered.

All applicants will need to obtain working papers from their local school systems to participate in this program.

Session 1 June 18 - June 29

Session 2 July 9- 20

Session 3 July 23 - August 3

Session 4 August 6 - 11
